Men's Golf Competes at Tar Heel Intercollegiate

Chapel Hill, N.C. - The Boston College men's golf team finished 14th at the Tar Heel Intercollegiate this past weekend. The team shot a combined 918, +54 in three rounds of play at the par 72-course.
Sophomore Nicholas Pandelena led the Eagles and shot a 221, +5. His weekend was highlighted by a score of 70 in round two. Junior John Jackopsic took second for BC with a score of 230, +14. Junior Andy Mai (235, +19), freshman Jonathan Woods (240, +24) and sophomore Brian Butler (246, +30) took the final three spots on the team.
Georgia Tech took first out of the 14 teams that competed with a team score of 842, -22.
The Eagles compete next at the Collegiate Challenge Cup in Nashville, Tennessee from Sept. 20-22.
