Men's Golf Competes at the Golfweek Program Challenge

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - The Boston College men's golf team finished 11th out 12 teams (882, +18) at the Golfweek Program Challenge in Myrtle Beach, S.C. on Tuesday.
Junior Andy Mai took the top spot for the Eagles and finished tied for 17th overall, shooting a 216, E over three rounds of play. Sophomore Nicholas Pandelena finished second for BC and tied for 23rd overall with a score of 219, +3. Junior Max Christiana (225, +9), freshman Patrick Oleksak (226, +10) and junior John Jackopsic (229, +3) rounded out the top five.
Akron took first place in the invitational with a team score of 856, -3, while IUPUI (861, -3) took second and James Madison (862, -2) finished third.
The Eagles will compete next at the Tar Heel Intercollegiate in Chapel Hill, N.C. on Sept. 14-15.
