Men's Tennis to Face Virginia Tech in ACC Championship

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The 11th-seeded Boston College men's tennis team will face sixth-seeded Virginia Tech in the first round of the 2013 ACC Championship on Thursday at 3 p.m. at Cary Tennis Park in Cary, N.C.
Earlier this season, the then-No. 59 Hokies beat the Eagles, 7-0, on March 17 in Blacksburg, Va.
The Eagles enter the match with a 5-15 overall record and a 0-10 mark in ACC play.
In dual match play, freshman Kyle Childree holds a 7-12 singles record while senior co-capatain Billy Grokenberger has accumulated a 6-10 mark in singles competition.
The winner of the match will advance to face No. 3-seeded Wake Forest on Friday at 3 p.m.
