Sailing Earns Fifth Place Finish At Southern NE Team Race

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - The Boston College sailing team placed fifth in the Southern New England Team Race, hosted by Conn. College, this past weekend.
The Eagles had a 10-6 record on the day to finish in fifth, behind fourth place Georgetown and third place Stanford. Yale won the event with a 12-4 record, while Brown was second at 11-5.
Seniors Alex Cook, Laura McKenna, Patrick Hession and Molly Clarke as well as sophomores William Bailey and Elizabeth Barnard sailed for BC. Freshmen Erika Reineke and Raul Rios also competed in this weekend's racing.
BC will compete in next week's 32nd Marchiando & 53rd Friis Trophies Team Race.
