Carpenter Set to Compete at the World Championships

2013 U.S. Training Camp Roster
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Sophomore Alex Carpenter was named to the U.S. National Team set to compete at the 2013 IIHF World Championships beginning tomorrow in Ottawa, Ontario.
28 players were invited to Lake Placid for a training camp from March 26-31 in order to determine the final roster for the World Championships. Team USA has taken home four gold and 10 silver medals over the previous 14 World Championships including gold medals in four of the last six tournaments.
Carpenter finished the 2012-13 campaign with a BC record 70 points as the team finished up their most successful season in program history – tallying 27 wins and its third consecutive Frozen Four appearance.
