Sailing Placed Second At The St. Mary's Team Race

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - The Boston College sailing team placed second at the St. Mary's Team Race this past weekend hosted by St. Mary's College of Maryland. The Eagles finished second with a 10-4 record, while Stanford won the event with a 12-2 record. Georgetown was third at 9-5. The regatta took place on the St. Mary's River off the Chesapeake Bay.
Those helping the Eagles place second in the regatta included freshman Raul Rios, Erika Reineke and Max Agnese, sophomore Elizabeth Barnard and William Bailey and seniors Patrick Hession, Molly Clarke, Laura McKenna and Alex Cook.
The Eagles will be back on the water next weekend as the team will compete in the Veitor Trophy hosted by Salve Regina. BC is currently ranked third in the country
