Hurricane Invitational Results
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The Boston College women’s golf team opened up their spring season in the Hurricane Invitational held at Deering Bay Yacht and Country Club.
The Eagles finished in a 13th place tie with Oral Roberts with a final team score of 945, +93.
Freshman Isabel Southard led the way for BC with a three round total of 222, her second best three round score this season. Southard’s +9 was good for a ninth place tie overall on the individual leader board alongside Minnesota’s Banchalee Theinthong.
Cristina McQuiston (232, +19), Katia Joo (236, +23), Chance Forbes (261, +48), and Regan Simeone (269, +56) rounded out the scoring for the Eagles.
Baylor finished first overall at +31, followed by Texas State at +35, and Miami at +46.
The women’s golf team will continue their spring schedule at the Peg Barnard Stanford Invitational from Feb. 16-17.
