Atlanta Ga.- Senior Melissa McTighe led the Eagles with seven kills and junior Courtney Castle notched six kills and seven digs as the Boston College volleyball team (9-20, 1-16 ACC) fell to Georgia Tech (11-18, 5-12 ACC) in straight sets, 3-0, on Friday night in Atlanta.
Junior Kellie Barnum led the squad in assists with 21 along with seven digs. Senior Amanda Yerke notched five kills and eight digs while freshman Anna Skold and sophomore Katty Workman each recorded a kill.
Defensively, freshman Madisen Lydon had a match-high 12 digs while sophomore Franny Hock had four.
The Eagles return to action tomorrow night as they take on Clemson at 6 p.m. in Clemson, S.C.
