FGCU Fall Invite Final Results
The Boston College men’s tennis team competed in its third event of the fall season at the FGCU Fall Invitational last weekend from Friday, Oct. 25 to Sunday, Oct. 27.
Host team Florida Gulf Coast University, Arkansas, Barry University, Boston College, Central Florida, Florida Atlantic, and Miami comprised the eight-team tournament field that filled three singles draws and two doubles draws.
Friday’s events consisted of singles first round, singles qualifying round and singles consolation round. Singles qualifying, singles consolation, doubles first round, and doubles semi-finals comprised Saturday’s schedule while the finals for singles and doubles took place on Sunday.
Several players from Boston College participated in the event with junior Philip Nelson competing in the Blue Singles Semi-Finals round.
The tournament concluded the Eagles’ fall schedule and they will be back in action in January for regular season play.
