Women's Golf Finishes 7th at Hoosier Fall Invitational

GREENWOOD, Ind. – The Boston College women’s golf team finished seventh out of 15 teams at the Hoosier Fall Invitational over the weekend. The Eagles shot a team score of 895, +43 in three rounds of play at the par-71, 6,062-yard Hickory Stick Golf Club.

Cristina McQuiston led the way for the Eagles, shooting a 217, +4 and finishing tied for sixth overall out of 96 competitors. Her score was highlighted by a 70 in round two. Katia Joo followed, shooting a 219, +6 and finishing 12th overall. Christina Wang (222, +9), Lelesse Mocio (242, +29) and Regan Simeone (247, +34) rounded out the top five.

UC Davis won the invitational, finishing with a team score of 868, +16.

This invitational concluded the fall season for the women’s golf team. They will return to action on Feb. 17 for the Jim West Challenge in New Braunfels, Texas.
