Chestnut Hill, Mass. - This past weekend at the Moody Intersectional Regatta, Boston College picked up a team victory. The regatta, hosted by Rhode Island, took place on Saturday and Sunday and the Eagles placed first with 116 points, while Harvard was second with 132 points and Yale placed third with 135 points.
In the A Division, Boston College soared ahead of the competition with 43 points. Sophomore Erika Reineke and sophomore Riley Calhoun finished three points ahead of Yale in the division. The tandem picked up one first place finished, one second place but four third place finishes to earn the win.
The Eagles B Division team of junior Domenic Bove and junior Katherine Wysocki placed fifth with 73 points, missing fourth place by just four points. Bove and Wysocki had two first place finishes and a second and third in the 10 races over the weekend.
