Andrew Alberts - Vancouver Canucks, D
• Did not see action this week for Vancouver.
Cam Atkinson - Columbus Blue Jackets, F
• Scored first goal of the season in win over Buffalo on Oct. 10. Also tallied an assist for a total of two points and was selected as one of the three stars of the game. Saw ice time in the 3-1 loss to the Bruins on Oct. 12.
Brian Boyle - New York Rangers, F
• Recorded his first point of the season with an assist in the 9-2 loss to the San Jose Sharks on Oct. 8. Also saw action in Rangers losses to Anaheim and St. Louis on Oct. 10 and Oct. 12.
Scott Clemmensen - Florida Panthers, G
• Saw limited action in goal against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Oct. 10, allowing one goal on four shots.
Patrick Eaves - Detroit Red Wings, F
• Did not see ice time this week for the Red Wings.
Nathan Gerbe - Carolina Hurricanes, F
• Played four games over the past week while tallying two goals and two assists for a total of four points. Was awarded the number one star of the game in the Hurricanes' 3-2 victory over the Washington Capitals on Oct. 10 after scoring the game-winning goal.
Brian Gionta - Montreal Canadiens, F
• Saw action in two games this week against the Calgary Flames and Edmonton Oilers.
Stephen Gionta - New Jersey Devils, F
• Played in all three of the Devils' games this week against Vancouver, Calgary and Winnipeg
Peter Harrold - New Jersey Devils, D
• Saw significant ice time in New Jersey's losses to Vancouver, Calgary and Winnipeg.
Jimmy Hayes - Chicago Blackhawks, F
• Saw significant action in Blackhawks loss to St. Louis on Oct 9.
Brooks Orpik - Pittsburgh Penguins, D
• Tallied two points, including his first goal of the season, this week and was selected as one of the stars of the game for his goal in a dramatic 5-4 win over Tampa Bay on Saturday.
Cory Schneider - New Jersey Devils, G
• Recorded an impressive .906 save percentage against the Vancouver Canucks on Oct. 8, stoppingd 32-of-34 shots in a loss to Winnipeg on Sunday.
Rob Scuderi -Pittsburgh Penguins, D
• Played in all three Penguins games this week, recording his first point of the season with an assist in the Penguins' win over the Lightning on Saturday.
Ben Smith - Chicago Blackhawks, F
• Recorded an assist in Chicago's win over the Islanders on Oct. 11. Also scored a goal in the Blackhawks' win over Buffalo on Saturday.
