Volleyball Continues Season with Tournament at Maryland
September 06, 2012 | Volleyball
While at Maryland the Eagles will open up the Atlantic Coast Conference portion of their schedule with a matchup against the Terrapins (4-2) before squaring off with non-conference foes No. 16 Tennessee (4-2) of the Southeasetern Conference and George Washington (2-6) of the Atlantic 10.
BC has only previously faced Maryland of the three teams holding a record of 5-8 against the tournament hosts. Maryland took straight set victories in both of the matches between the two teams in 2011. The Eagles have, however, defeated conference opponents of their other two adversaries in the tournament already this season. BC took down Fordham of the Atlantic 10 on Aug. 25 and downed Mississippi State of the SEC on Aug. 31.
