Pantale Named To Mackey Preseason Watch List

Boston College's Chris Pantalehas been named to the 2012 John Mackey Award Watch List, according to an announcement made by the Nassau Country Sports Commission on Tuesday. The award is given annually to the most outstanding collegiate tight end. It has been presented since 2000.
Pantale has played in all 38 games in the last three seasons. He has 77 receptions for 797 yards and five touchdowns. A 6-foot-6, 255-pound senior from Wayne, N.J., Pantale recorded four receptions for 70 yards and two touchdowns the team's 24-17 win at Miami in the 2011 season finale. He is making his second appearance on the Mackey Award watch list.
Pantale is a 2012 Boston College graduate who is currently enrolled in the Carroll Graduate School of Management.
