Katia Joo Named to All-ACC Team

Freshman golfer Katia Joo has been named to the 2012 All-ACC Women's Golf Team. She is only the second women's golfer to receive the accolade, teammate Eunice Yim was the first when she was named to the team in 2010.

Joo led the Eagles in eight of the ten invitational they competed in, averaging 76.10. Her best finish was at the Spider Invitational where she came in first out of 63 competitors, shooting a 230, +14. Throughout the year Joo had many strong performances including a second place finish at the C&F Bank Invitational, a fourth place finish at the Rutger's Invitational, and a 14th place finish at the ACC Championship.
