Rowing Set to Take on URI, UNH and UMass

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -
Boston College rowing will take on Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Massachusetts on Saturday, March 31 in Kingston, R.I. on the Narrow River.
The BC Varsity Eight will compete against URI for the Resolute Cup, as the Eagles, led by captains Erin Roche and Emily Charnowski, will try to bring the cup back to Boston for the first time since 2006. Varsity Eight boats from UMass and UNH will also race in this event, but will not be considered for the cup.
The Novice Eight crew will race in the first event of the day for BC. This boat, led by coxswain Kate Votta, has been successful so far this spring, winning the Jesuit Invitational on March 17.
The Varsity Four B and Varsity Four A boats will race next, followed by the Second Varsity Eight, Varsity Eight and the Third Varsity Eight to close out the day. Directions to the Narrow River boathouse can be found here.

10:30 a.m. - Novice Eight
10:50 a.m. - Varsity Four B (two UMass entries)
11:10 a.m. - Varsity Four A
11:30 a.m. - Second Varsity Eight
11:50 a.m. - Varsity Eight - (Resolute Cup given to winner between BC and URI)
12:10 p.m. - Third Varsity 8 (BC and UNH only)
