Boston College hockey fans call follow Friday's game between the top-ranked Eagles and Vermont Catamounts on March 2 beginning at 7:15 p.m., via the cover it live blog. Fans can submit comments during the game via the blog as well.
BC enters the final weekend of Hockey East regular-season competition having won each of the last nine games. The team is ranked first in the country and is atop the Hockey East Association standings with 17 conference victories and 35 points, two points ahead of second-place Boston University. With two victories, the Eagles would clinch their second straight - and record 12th overall - Hockey East regular-season championship, including its sixth under Jerry York.
Both games this weekend will be televised nationally by the CBS Sports Network with Eric Frede (play-by-play), Dave Starman (analyst) and Shireen Saski (rinkside). Friday's faceoff is set for 7:30 p.m. and will also be broadcast by FM 98.5 The Sports Hub with Ryan Johnston (play-by-play) and former Eagle Craig Janney (analyst). Saturday's game is set for 7 p.m.
