Boston College hockey fans call follow Friday's Hockey East semifinal game between the top-ranked and No. 1 seeded Eagles and No. 7 seed Providence on March 16 beginning at 4:45 p.m., via the cover it live blog. Fans can submit comments during the game via the blog as well.
BC enters today's game having won each of the last 13 games, equaling the longest win streak in the Jerry York era (1994-present). It captured the 2011-12 Hockey East regular-season title with a 19-7-1 record in 27 conference games and is the unanimous choice as the nation's No. 1 team in both major national weekly polls.
All three games of the 28th Hockey East Championship (semifinals and final) are televised by NESN with Tom Caron (play-by-play), Craig Janney (analyst) and Sonny Waltrus (rinkside) as well as the NBC Sports Network with John Walton (play-by-play) and Ken Hodge (analyst).
