No. 21 WXC Wins the New England Championships

Westfield, Mass. – The Boston College women’s cross country team scored five members in the top 20 en route to a first place finish at the New England Championships on Sunday. The Eagles repeated their first place finish at the event from a year ago.
Senior Bridget Dahlberg recorded a personal record of 17:06.60 and finished second overall to lead the Eagles whom finished with 45 points for the race.
The top five was rounded out by Liv Westphal (17:10.33), Elizabeth O’Brien (17:42.96), Moira Kenny (17:43.54), and Brittany Winslow (17:50.38).
Westphal, O’Brien, Kenny, and Winslow all achieved personal records on Sunday.
Boston College will be back in action on Friday as they travel to Madison for the Wisconsin Invitational.
