Women's Sailor Erika Reineke Headed To National Competition

Chestnut Hill, MA - Boston College is in the running again for a Single-handed Championships as freshman Erika Reineke won the conference title this past weekend. Reineke follows in the footsteps of former BC Eagle great Annie Haeger '12, who was named the 2012 Eagles of the Year in May.
Reineke, a native of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, won the event with 30 points, with the closest contender being 37 points away. BC's Carolyn Naughton, a junior, finished eighth in the competition.
The regatta took place on Sept. 29 and 30 on the Long Island Sound, hosted by Conn. College.
