Carpenter's Quest: Day 10 - Another Day Off

With last night's 13-1 win over the Czech's we have earned ourselves a bye into the semifinal round because of our three wins in the preliminary round. Our next game will be on Friday, but the time and opponent are still undetermined. We know it will be either 3 p.m. or 7 p.m. CET. We are all going to watch the Germany vs. Czech game tonight because we will be playing the winner of that game.
Today is a rather light schedule. We started the day off with an hour practice where we played small games and competed against each other. It was more of a fun practice, because we have two days off before our next game. After practice we had more free time with our parents to go into Zlín and out to dinner. After our parents left us to go sightseeing in Prague, Haley Skarupa and I went to watch another quarterfinal game taking place between Sweden and Finland. While there we went to the pro shop to do some shopping for people at home. We were in there for maybe an hour and pretty much bought the entire store! We also saw a player from the Zlín pro team and even got a picture with him.
Soon we will all be going over to the rink to watch the game between Germany and Czech to see whom we will be playing Friday night. It will be a good team event and it will also give us an inside look at our possible opponents. Off to the rink again!
Thanks for reading!
