Carpenter's Quest: Day 9 - Game Day vs. Czech Republic

First off, I want to start with a shout out to Haley Skarupa. Happy 18th birthday! Crazy you get to celebrate it in the Czech Republic! I'm sure everyone dreams of having to get up at 7:45 a.m. on their birthday, right?

We started off today with a half hour pre-game skate to get out legs going before tonight's game. Other than this morning's skate, we had nothing to do other than watch movies and sleep. No complaints from me! Later on this afternoon, we will have a video session with the coaches to go over a few things from our last game.

Tonight we will take on the Czech's; it will be exciting to play in front of such a giant crowd! For Dana Trivigno and myself it will also be exciting because our parents have landed in the Czech and are making their way over to Zlín for tonight's game.
