Men's Golf Team Competes at Adams Cup

Newport, RI- The men's golf team finished 16th out of nineteen teams at the Adams Cup of Newport. The team shot a combined 929, +69 in three rounds of play at the par 72 course.
John Nurczynski led the Eagles shooting a 229,+13. Finishing second for the team was Luke Feehan, who shot a 231, +16. Freshman classmates Andy Mai (234, +19), John Jackopsic (236, +21) and Eddie McQuiston rounded out the top five.
The top three teams at the invitational were UCF (842, -18), the University of Georgia (851, -9) and Yale University (860, E).
The Eagles will compete next at the Hartford Invitational on September 26.
