Bruges, Belgium -
A Day In Bruges, Belgium
The Boston College women's basketball team left Amsterdam this morning on a long bus ride to Bruges, Belgium. The Eagles arrived later in the day and after checking in began walking the streets with a tour guide, Yan.
The team watched a horse and buggy competition, lost the tour guide, found him, and walked through a market place, saw foundations of the Cathedral that is under the Crowne Plaza and saw the oldest hospital in the world. The team then watched Coach Stephanie Lawrence Yelton's son Bobby ride a baby roller coaster before heading back to the hotel for a little rest before dinner.
The Eagles had a great meal at a local brasseire. The team had either a muscles dinner or chicken and an awesome European style shrimp cocktail. And the night is not complete without ice cream as most of the girls headed out for gelato before heading back to the hotel.
