BC rising senior and captain for the 2011-2012 season, Erin Roche, was named to the All-New England Region Second Team by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association.

The CRCA awards and recognizes outstanding performances of rowers and coxswains in five regions. Athletes nominated for this award must be in their teams’ varsity boats for 75 percent of races. Also receiving accolades were Emily Charnowski, Erin Flaherty, Sarah Loiselle, Brigid Morrissey, and Rachel Pettis -- all were announced as CRCA Scholar Athletes.

Athletes receiving this award must have a 3.5 or higher cumulative GPA through their fall semester, must be in their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of eligibility, and must be in NCAA eligible boats for 75 percent of their spring races. To see the full CRCA Scholar Athlete selections click here.
