Chestnut Hill, MA - The Boston College sailing team added another regatta win to it's program this past weekend in California. The Eagles won the ICSA Coed Dinghy Western Semifinal Championship Regatta at the US Sailing Center in Long Beach, CA. The win advances the Eagles to the finals in two weeks.
The Eagles won the regatta by one point over Yale (102, 103)and six more than Roger Williams (108).
BC placed fifth in the A Division behind a strong showing from Tyler Sinks, Laura McKenna and Lucy Wallace. The team earned 62 points.
The team of Taylor Canfield, Emily Massa and Emily Migliaccio gave BC a first in the B Division with 40 points.
The Eagles are repeat champs in this event as they won the regatta last season when they raced in the Eastern Semifinal.
