No. 9 Eagles Travel to UNH

Chestnut Hill, MA- The No. 9 Boston College women’s lacrosse team travels to UNH Friday, April 29, facing the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m., in their last game of the regular season. Entering Friday’s game, the Eagles are 11-6 overall and 1-4 in ACC play, while UNH is 7-7 and 2-3 in the America East Conference. Boston College defeated the Wildcats last season, 12-6.
The Eagles are coming off a strong performance at the ACC Tournament last week, in which the Eagles defeated Virginia Tech 17-3, and lost to No. 1 Maryland in a close battle, 8-5. Senior Kristin Igoe was named to the ACC All-Tournament Team, with a two-game total of five goals and three assist.
With a win on Friday, the Eagles would bring their win total to 12, tying the most in program history, reached by last year’s team. Boston College also hopes to earn an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history.
