Eagles Flying for Nationals

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - This weekend the Eagles sailing team finished first in the Reed Trophy Women's New England Championship Regatta, guaranteeing the team a place at Nationals. Junior Annie Haeger, senior Briana Provancha, and junior Emily Massa contributed to a first place finish in Division A, followed by a strong performance from seniors Emily Maxwell and Elizabeth Dudley in Division B.
Also this weekend, the Eagles placed fifth in the Admiral's Cup intersectional regatta. Seniors Taylor Canfield, Emily Migliaccio, and freshman Evan Woodford led the Eagles to first in Division A while sophomores Alex Cook, Laura McKenna, and senior Alex Gestal tied for ninth in Division B and junior Ian Donahue fought for tenth place in Division C.
Seniors Tyler Sinks and Lucy Wallace placed third for Division A in the intersectional regatta, hosted by Connecticut College, competing for the Thompson Trophy. Boston College finished third overall.
