Cary, NC- Senior Kristin Igoe and junior Brittany Wilton were named to the 2011 All-ACC Team. The team is comprised of 18 members from the six ACC schools, as determined by a vote of the ACC's six head coaches.
Igoe has been named to the All-ACC Team for her third straight year, while this is Wilton's first time. This marks the third year in a row that two BC players have been named to the All-ACC squad, with two student-athletes being most to ever make the team for the Eagles.
Igoe leads the Eagles this season in goals scored (36), caused turnovers (29) and points (49). She currently ranks seventh all-time on BC's career goals list with 111 and seventh all-time in career points with 145.
Wilton ranks second on the team in goals scored this season (34), and second with 14 assists and points (48). Wilton's league leading 81 draw controls this season places her atop the list of BC's single season leaders and currently ranks fourth all-time with 118.
The No. 4 seed Eagles will face No. 5 Virginia Tech Thursday, in the first round of the ACC tournament, with the winner advancing to play No. 1 Maryland on Friday.
