Princeton Invitational Day Two - Bogosian Takes Second In High Jump

Princeton, N.J. - Senior Jon Bogosian cleared 1.99 meters (6-6.25 ft.) to take second place on attempts in the high jump competition on Saturday at the Sam Howell Princeton Invitational. The Boylston, Mass. native's mark ranks eighth on the Boston College men's track and field outdoor all-time list.
Freshman Kellen MacDonald took sixth in the 400-meter hurdles, coming around in 55.74 for a photo finish effort out of section two.
First-year Joseph Stuart's sixth place showing in a personal record of 22.40 led the Eagles. Classmates Connor O'Neill and Bradley Noss also posted PRs of 22.95 and 23.48, respectively.
Stuart also set a personal record of 50.12 in the quarter mile.
Junior Matthew Adetula took seventh in the long jump, flying to a mark of 6.36 meters (20-10.25 ft.).
In the 1500, sophomore Jack Linehan turned in a time of 4:03.46 to finish in ninth place. Classmate Nahed Lakkis was not far behind at 4:04.56 in 15th place.
Senior thrower Mathew Kosmas recorded a discus toss of 40.27 meters (132-1.0 ft.) to finish in 10th place and posted a hammer throw toss of 51.13 meters (167-9.0 ft.) to place 11th.
Sophomores Kyle Nelson and Nahed Lakkis led BC in the 800-meter run with times of 1.57.63 and 1:57.77, respectively.
The Eagles return to action with the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic, April 15-16 in Lewisburg, Pa.
