Barry Named WomensLax.com Rookie of the Week

Boston College's freshman Moira Barry earned WomensLax.com Rookie of the week after helping her team defeat Holy Cross and Yale this past week. Barry had seven goals, one assist, a ground ball and a draw control in the victories.

In Monday's game against UConn Barry added four goals in the 11-8 BC victory, giving her 11 goals on the road-trip in Clermont, Fl.

Barry leads the Eagles this season in scoring with 21 goals and 24 points in six games. A Framingham, MA. native, Barry was a three-time first team high school All-American in 2008-2010 and was named the Boston Globe's Player of the Year in 2010.

Barry and the Eagles look to remain undefeated when they travel to Virginia Tech on March 12th .
