BC Fencing Falters at Beanpot

The Boston College fencing teams faltered at the Fencing Beanpot hosted by Brandeis University in Waltham, Mass. with the men's team finishing with a 1-2 record and the women's team concluding the day at 0-3.
Against MIT the men's foil team fenced to an 8-1 record, and the men's sabre team finished with a record of 7-2. On the women's side, the foil team went 7-2 and the epee team was 5-4 against the Engineers.
The men's epee team went 6-3 against Brandeis while the women's sabre and foil teams both went 5-4 against the host Judges.
For the men Peter Souders went 6-1 while Calvin Chau, Sjur Hoftun, and Patrick Riley all finished the day at 6-3. On the women's side, Jennifer Colacino went 6-3 while Christine Cook and Olivia Curry both finished at 5-4.
