Raleigh, N.C. - Boston College men's track and field senior Ian Thomas placed fourth in the half mile, setting a personal record of 1:52.18, at the Raleigh Relays at NC State's Paul Derr Track on Saturday.
Sophomore Louis Serafini also ran the 800 meters, coming in just hundredths of a second shy of his PR at 1:55.79.
The two Eagles returned to run the 3200-meter relay with sophomores Kyle Nelson and Nahed Lakkis. BC placed seventh in a time of 7:46.25.
Andrew MacIsaac led three Eagles in section two of the 1500 meter contest. The senior finished fifth in a field of 92, crossing in 4:00.84, also hundredths of a second shy of a PR.
Freshman Jeremy Theriault completed the race in 4:10.08 and senior Theodore Doyle came around in 4:16.12.
Senior Mathew Kosmas took 11th in the hammer throw field of 37 with a toss of 52.22 meters.
Connor Downey hurled the javelin 45.27 meters for 15th of 33 athletes.
Freshmen Joseph Stuart, Jack Hennessy, Kellen MacDonald and Connor O'Neill combined to run the 4x200-meter relay in 1:30.57.
The next meet for the Eagles is the Sam Howell Invitational, which will be held from April 1-2 in Princeton, N.J.
