Women's Golf Takes First at Eagle Invitational

Daytona Beach, Fla.- The women's golf team finished first out of nine teams at the Eagle Invitational with a team score of 623, +47 in two rounds of play at the par-72 course. The team posted the lowest score for both of the two rounds.
Carolyn Barbee led the Eagles and finished second overall shooting a 154, +10. Teammates Eunice Yim and Kaela Klune followed closely behind as they tied for third, each with a score of 155, +11. Kelsey Rockey finished tied for sixth (159, +16) and Stephanie Hu took 16th (168, +24).
Shorter University (656, +80) finished in second overall and Embry-Riddle (663, +87) took third.
The Eagles will be back in action April 3 at the Georgetown Invitational in Leesburg, VA.
