Chestnut Hill, MA - It was a great weekend for Boston College guard Tessah Holt. Holt, who was missing from the bench in Thursday night's win over Clemson, flew home to Georgia for a special reason.
On Saturday night, Holt was honored by Fayette County High School as the women's basketball program retired her No. 21.
Holt graduated from Fayette County in 2009. She spend one season at Florida before arriving at Boston College in the summer of 2010. Holt will hit the hardwood for the Eagles in the 2011-12 season.
While at Fayette County, Holt led the team to a 31-1 record in her senior season. She reached 1,000 points and was All-State first team and was the Metro Naismith Winner as well as the Class AAA Player of the Year.
