Billett Captures League Accolades

Boston College goaltender Brian Billett has earned Hockey East Association Defensive Player of the Week accolades, the league announced on Monday.
Billett, a 6-foot-1, 190-pound freshman from Brunswick, Maine, recorded 31 saves in his collegiate debut - a 3-2 win at Yale on Saturday, Nov. 26.
He played the last three seasons with the New Hampshire Junior Monarchs of the Eastern Junior Hockey League, notching 62 regular-season wins and 11 postseason wins in the net.
Billett graduated from Kennebunk (Maine) High School in 2010.
Boston College (10-4-0, 7-2-0 Hockey East) next will face Boston University (7-4-1, 5-3-1 HE) in a two-game, home-and-home weekend series that begins on Friday, Dec. 2 at 7:30 p.m. Friday's game will be carried live on FM 98.5 The Sports Hub and will be televised by CBS Sports Network.
