Chestnut Hill, Mass. –The Boston College women’s ice hockey team retained its No. 4 ranking in the USCHO and USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine polls this week.
The top three schools in each poll were unchanged, as Wisconsin remaining a No. 1 for the eighth straight week.
The only change to the USCHO poll was Minnesota jumping Cornell for the No. 2 ranking, after the Bears fell at Dartmouth, 5-4, and topped No. 10 Harvard, 5-3. The Gophers took a break from play last week.
Minnesota-Duluth fell two spots, from five to seven, in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine vote after week off. BU improved to No. 5 with a win over New Hampshire and North Dakota went up to No. 6 despite not playing. Northeastern also bettered itself one place to No. 8 after sweeping Vermont.
Boston College was off last week, but resumes league play at No. 8 Northeastern on Thursday, Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. Fans are invited to watch, listen and/or keep up with live stats.
