Men's Golf Takes Eleventh at Adams Cup

Newport, RI- The men's golf team finished eleventh out of seventeen teams at the Adams Cup posting a team score of 920, +56 on the par 72 course.
Junior John Nurczynski led the Eagles at the invitational shooting a 223, +7 in three rounds of play. Sophomore Luke Feehan followed posting a 231, +15. Kyle McCartan took third on the team with a score of 236, +20. Craig Kublin and Kevin Melnick rounded out the top five each finishing with a 238, +22.
The top three teams at the invitational were the University of Central Florida (868, +4), the University of West Florida (886, +22) and Central Connecticut (893, +29).
The Eagles will be back in action October 2 at the ECAC Championship in Egg Harbor, N.J.
