Women's Ice Hockey Announces 2010-11 Schedule

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -
The Boston College women's ice hockey team will play 21 Hockey East games and host the 2011 Beanpot Tournament in upcoming 2010-11 season.
The Eagles will open the season on the road at Colgate on October 8. They travel for the next four games before heading to Conte Forum for the first home game on October 24 against Brown.
The first Hockey East games will come early in the season with back-to-back contests at Vermont on October 15 and 16. BC will face off against cross-town league rivals Boston University for the first time on November 20 at BU. Boston College will host the Terriers the next night, November 21.
The Eagles will try to take back the Beanpot, last won in 2009, when Boston College hosts the tournament on February 8 and 15. BC will take the ice against BU in the first round at 8:00 p.m. on February 8. Northeastern will play Harvard in the early game at 5:00 p.m.
