Men's Soccer Announces 2010 Captains

Midfielder Karl Reddick and defender Chris Ager will serve at 2010 Boston College men's soccer captains, according to an announcement made by head coach Ed Kelly.
Reddick, who served as one of two team captains as a junior in 2009, will lead the team as a senior. Ager, who enrolled at Boston College as a freshman for the spring 2010 semester, will lead the team with freshman athletic eligibility.
Reddick is a Pottstown, Pa., native and played in 22 games during the 2009 season. He earned All-Atlantic Coast Conference second-team honors as well as NSCAA All-South Atlantic third-team recognition as a junior.
Ager is a Gjettum, Norway, resident who played for the Stabaek Football Club for each of the last six seasons before enrolling at Boston College.
The Eagles will host two exhibitions during preseason training camp - Colgate on Monday, Aug. 23 and Providence on Friday, Aug. 27 - before opening the 2010 regular-season schedule against Hartford on Wednesday, Sept. 1 at 4 p.m. at the Newton Campus Field.
BC will open its ACC schedule on Friday, Sept. 10 at home against Maryland.
