Caitline Bailey Competes at NCAA Track and Field Championships

Boston College senior Caitlin Bailey competed in the NCAA Outdoor National Championships which is being held in Eugene, Oregon this week.
A native of Ontario, Canada, Bailey placed 12th in the preliminary race on Thursday with a time of 2:07.02. The top eight qualified for the next round.
Bailey was the only BC student-athlete to qualify for the event when she ran the 800 event in 2:03.45 at the Northeast Regional the weekend of May 28 in Greensboro, North Carolina. The time of 2:03.45 is a new program record, eclipsing the previous best of 2:04.09 established in 1990 by Gail Harris.
