Sailing Takes First Place In ICSA Eastern Semifinals

The Boston College sailing team finished in first place in the 2010 Intercollegiate Sailing Association Eastern Semifinals.
The Eagles finished in first place in the "A" division of the regatta, with juniors Tyler Sinks, Lucy Wallace and Danny Bloomstine earning 64 points on the weekend. The team topped Georgetown by five points, while sailing to four, first-place finishes.
BC flew far ahead of the rest of the schools in the "B" division, tallying only 50 points and finishing 20 points ahead of Charleston's 70. Senior Sandra Williams, juniors Taylor Canfield and Briana Provancha and sophomore Emily Massa all contributed to the seven first-place finishes of the group.
