Eagles Take Fifth at New England Championship

Providence, RI- The Boston College men's golf team finished fifth out of twelve teams at the New England Championship. The team finished with an overall score of 607 shooting 31 over par and the par 72 course.
Kyle McCartan led the Eagles finishing tied for sixth overall shooting a 147, +3. John Nurczynski followed just behind shooting a 152, +8. Kevin Melnick and Luke Feehan tied for 26th each shooting a 155, +13. Mark Endres finished out the top five with a 156, +14.
The top three teams at the championship were the University of Connecticut (586, +10), Sacred Heart University (594, +18) and the University of Rhode Island (598, +22).
The Eagles will finish their season April 24 in New London, NC at the ACC Championship.
