
Joe Trapani Earns All-ACC Third-Team Honors

Boston College junior Joe Trapani captured All-ACC third-team honors, according to an announcement made by the Associated Press in conjunction with the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association.
Trapani averaged 13.3 points and 5.8 rebounds in 15 conference contests this season. The Madison, Conn., resident ranked among league leaders in both scoring (12th) and rebounding (15th).
The All-ACC first-team selections were Greivis Vasquez (Maryland), Jon Scheyer and Kyle Singler (Duke), Malcolm Delaney (Virginia Tech) and Trevor Booker (Clemson). Vasquez, Scheyer and Delaney were first-team selections on all 53 votes in ballots cast by members of the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association.
Boston College (15-15, 6-10 ACC) returns to action on Thursday, March 11 against Virginia in the ACC Tournament's first round. Game time is noon in the Greensboro (N.C.) Coliseum.
