Baader and Cimino Earn ACC All-Academic Recognition

Juniors Kristen Baader and Melanie Cimino have been named to the 2009 ACC Volleyball All-Academic team following an announcement made by the conference.
Baader, a 5-9 defensive specialist from Kildeer, Ill., was one of three players on the team who saw action in all 116 sets for the Eagles this season. She finished third on the team in service aces with 20 and second on the team in digs with 274.
Cimino, a 6-2 middle hitter from Irvine, Calif., led the Eagles in blocks this past season with 93 and was third on the team in kills with 207.
To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during her academic career.
