Volleyball Adds One With National Letter Of Intent

Student-athlete Melissa McTighe has signed a national letter of intent to play volleyball at Boston College according to an announcement made by head coach, Chris Campbell.
McTighe, a 6-1 middle blocker from Los Altos, California captained her Mountain View High School team in 2009 and earned an all-league selection in the process. In 2008, she led the squad to a second-place finish in Northern California and was named an all-league honorable mention.
McTighe is currently playing for the Vision 18 Gold club. Last season she helped the Vision 17 Gold team win a bronze medal in the Open Division at the 2009 USA Volleyball Junior Olympic Championships in Miami, Florida.
