DUREVA RECEIVES SPECIAL MENTION FROM ASVR

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Junior outside hitter Tsvetelina Dureva was given a special mention by the American Volleyball Scouting Report (ASVR). This is the second ASVR honor for the Razlog, Bulgaria native this season, as she was named the Global Player of the Week on Sept. 6.
Dureva garnered the recognition by ASVR for her performance in the Eagles, 3-1, win over Maryland in the season finale on Nov. 24. The Razlog, Bulgaria native totaled 19 kills on .204 hitting percentage and had two blocks against the Terrapins. The win was Boston College first-and-only in the ACC on the year.
At the conclusion of the regular season, Dureva ranked sixth in the ACC in kills (372) and kills per game (3.26), both career-highs. She had an attack efficiency of .200-or-better in 16 games and recorded 10-plus kills in 18 matches. In addition to leading the team offensively, she recorded the third most digs of any Eagle this year (254).
