Coed Sailing Wins Schell Trophy

New London, CT - The No. 1 ranked Boston College coed sailing team won the Schell Trophy - New England Intercollegiate Sailing Association's fall coed Conference Championship - at the US Coast Guard Academy this past weekend.
Led by B Division senior skipper Taylor Canfield and crews Emily Migliaccio, Pat Hession, and Danny Bloomstine, the Eagles topped the 18-team field by nearly 20 points. Canfield and his crews won the B Division by 26 points, while seniors Tyler Sinks and Lucy Wallace won four of the last five races and finished second in A Division.
The victory qualifies the coed squad for the Atlantic Coast Championships at the US Naval Academy next weekend.
