Boston College will travel to Burlington, Vermont to play in the TD Bank Classic. The Eagles will open up the tournament on Friday, Nov. 19 at 5 p.m. against Dartmouth. On Saturday, Nov. 20, Boston College will play host Vermont at 3 p.m.
The Eagles are currently 2-0 on the season with victories over Boston University and the University of Hartford.
BC vs. Dartmouth
Boston College and Dartmouth have played eight times. BC leads the head-to-head series, 8-0.
Last season, Boston College defeated Dartmouth, 84-46, behind 18 points and 12 rebounds from Carolyn Swords. BC had five players in double figures and shot 58 percent from the floor and 53 percent from the three-point line.
BC vs. Vermont
Last season Vermont stunned Boston College, 84-65 at Conte Forum behind 36 points from Courtnay Pilypaitis and 22 from May Kotsopoulos. The Eagles offense was led by Mickel Picco with 12 points, while Carolyn Swords had 10 points and 13 rebounds.
The Eagles lead the head-to-head series, 5-2. The series is tied 2-2 in the last four meetings.
Next Up
The Boston College women's basketball team will play in the Junkanoo Jam at Grand Bahama Island, over the Thanksgiving break. The Eagles, who received votes in the AP Poll this week, will play former Big East rival Seton Hall on November 26 followed by either Auburn or Sacred Heart on Nov. 27.
Last November the Eagles played in the Hoops For A Cure Tournament hosted by SMU. The Eagles defeated both Fresno State (83-72) and SMU (69-68) to earn the championship.

Senior Carolyn Swords is one swat away from owning the program record for blocked shots. A native of Sudbury, MA, Swords is just 26 boards away from breaking the program record for rebounds. Holly Porter is the current owner of the record with 903 rebounds.
