The Boston College women's basketball team hosted a family picnic on Sunday, Sept. 6 at Skyline Park in Newton, Ma. Players, family members, team managers and the women's basketball staff all enjoyed good food, music and a day in the sun before the school year started.

Coach Sylvia Crawley addressed the members of the team and their families about the upcoming academic year and the 2009-20 basketball season. The family picnic will now be an annual event for the women's basketball team so new players and their families can meet other families, the basketball staff and the support staff around the team.
